Without going into details...
At one of my schools I went through a protracted issue (two-months) with a kid where I made lots of mistakes, had to ask for a lot of help, had a particular group of people deride (hate-on) me, and where I basically looked like an idiot. It was a complicated, unique, multifaceted issue that no one seemed to really know what to do about.
I was a "Goat."
At another of of my schools today an issue with a student with THE EXACT SAME SET OF CIRCUMSTANCES happened. With in a half hour I had the plan in place.
I was a "Hero."
